Common questions

Fast answers

Why does EjectTone say to use the iPhone speaker?

The cleaning and sound-test profiles are designed for the built-in speaker. Disconnect headphones, Bluetooth, AirPlay, or other audio devices, then choose Check again.

Does EjectTone listen to or diagnose my speaker?

No. EjectTone never requests microphone access, records audio, or assigns a diagnostic score. Use the reference sound test and judge the result yourself.

Will it definitely remove water or repair my speaker?

No sound utility can guarantee that. The guided tone may help move trapped water, but it cannot repair physical damage or replace professional service.

What volume should I use?

Start at a comfortable moderate volume with the speaker away from your ears. Stop if the sound is uncomfortable or distorted. EjectTone never changes system volume for you.

Why did playback stop?

A route change, call, Siri, another audio session, locking the phone, or leaving the app can stop playback for safety. Return to EjectTone, confirm the built-in speaker is active, and try again.

Did an interrupted session use my included cleaning?

No. Only a genuinely completed guided cleaning consumes the included session. Stopped, interrupted, blocked, or failed attempts remain available.

How do I restore Lifetime Access?

Open Settings in EjectTone and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase.

Can I request a refund?

Apple handles App Store billing and refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase.
